My bluetooth headset is finally broken (it was very uncomfortable and hard to fit) and I would like some advice on which one to buy. I need something comfy and not too flashy (not the type of big colored headset that screams "look at me"). Any advice or review link would do. Thank you!

Don't do it flava! When I was a little kid, my parents told me to stay away from the people that are walking around talking out loud to themselves. Good solid advice I have followed my whole life. Now, everybody is walking around with these things talking on the phone... I can't tell the crazies from those with headsets anymore! And I'm NOT getting close enough to them to see if they have one of them new fangled things on!;) :D

:)

I don't use my phone in public. I need a headset at work as I spend a lot of time on the phone and don't want to keep it close to me all day long.

I like my Motorola H500, I rarely use it with my cell phone, primarily I use it with Skype through the bluetooth on my laptop. It will charge on a mini-USB, and best of all only $30 from tigerdirect.com.

There are several headsets that I've used over the past 2 years, some of which I can recommend:
  • Blue Ant Wireless' X3 Micro (great sound & volume both ways)
  • Motorola HS850 (easiest daily use... just flip open the boom mic and it activates the unit and connects to the phone)
I can also recommend Blue Ant's Supertooth 2 speakerphone unit. Works on the desk and in the car. Awesome unit. Great sound, etc.
