with the no talking on your cell while driving, it looks like i need to pick up a headset. i have never had one before, but it will have to go to work with me(landscaping). i have read reviews for cheap to expensive and i am leaning towards the mororola endevour hx-1. it seems like if it works for you , it works really well. what are you using? thanx.

i had been using jawbone headsets, and they work very well.

i just picked up a plantronics set that comes with a little case/charger, which doubles talk time. when the battery is low, just snap in to the case and it charges right up.

its also clearer on my end than the jawbones, and the fit is much better. i always have problems with the earloops on the jawbone 1 and 2. the fit was good, but not great. ive been very happy with the plantronics.

I have owned/used most of the Motorola headsets, the original Jawbone, and now have the Plantronics Voyager Pro. It is by far the best BT headset I have ever used. It is comfortable for many hours of wear... it has a battery that lasts and lasts for hours and hours... and the sound is superb on both ends of the conversation.

i have gone through dozens of bluetooths...you kinda have too, nothing is universal or consistant; what works great on one model can work lousy on another...

had a logitech that worked GREAT, but just hurt the lobe too much to wear more than 10mins...motorola's fit ok, but mediocre performance...jabra's don't fit close enough to my ear...the plantronics models i've tried weren't loud enough...etc etc etc....

i did find one that worked well with my LG's and fit pretty good (not real good tho); the jawbone 1...whicn has since been replaced by the jawbone 2 (and i don't know if it will work the same for me yet)...

the moral of the story is; you have to try a lot, and it can get expensive doing so...but then you can get lucky too and get it right on the first couple of tryouts...

I have used a Jabra BT250V for over 4 years with no problems. Recently it started to finally give up the ghost and I did searches on the best ones out now.
I decided on the Plaintronics Voyager Pro. It was the C-Net editors choice which may or may not mean much, but it got me looking further into them. I do love it. It is loud and fits me nicely. It is a very nice unit so far and seems to have a nice long battery life. It comes in loud and clear has a pivoting boom with good mics.
