I've been wanting a pair for a while, and Want to know if anybody has them, and if they feel positive about them. I am not terribly hard on shoes, but I Have EEE feet, and they are difficult to fit. Any word?

I've had a pair of elastic sided steel capped ones and they are good solid boots. I will buy them again when my current boots wear out.

Good boots: solid, and good value for money.

Lately I’ve been buying Redbacks: a little more expensive, and a bit better quality.

Dijos,

I've had a pair for four years and they're great all-purpose boots. Mine are the general, basic style. I have really wide feet, too, and typically have to buy wide-width shoes, but the Blunnies "regular" width is perfect for me. If they sell a wide width, it should fit even the broadest foot.

I find mine to be great for occasions when I want traction but don't want to pull on my heavy winter boots. Beware, they're not insulated, so occasionally my toes do get chilly if I lazily wear them on a really cold day.

My only caveat is that the price varies widely. If you can find a pair in a store for about $100, get 'em, but if not, try on a pair to make sure you know what size fits you (they're sized using Australian measurements) and then look for them online. I've seen pairs sell for $70 or less from eBay sellers with high ratings.

OOOH...aussie boots...one of my favourite topics.

I've tried almost all of 'em. Currently i have a couple of redbacks, a blundstone, a rossi and a few Rm williams. Out of all the Rm williams boots are the most well made but also the most expensive.

My favourite is the Redback and Rossi. Both equally good. The blundstone are comfy enough but the pull tabs aren't that well put together compared to the redbacks and the leather one on the rossi.

If you're buying i recommend buying from Mick Green. Very helpful fellow and he charges 1 SHIPPING RATE. 1 pair or 10 pairs it's just one shipping rate. I recommend going with a Redback if you want something wide. The thing is Redbacks are made extra wide on their normal shoes. BUT THEY HAVE A HALF SIZE THAT IS EVEN WIDER (but not longer).

Half the male population here in Western Australia wear Blunnies.
Inexpensive, very hard wearing, comfortable, and dressy enough to be worn almost anywhere.

Never liked the steel cap version, but that's a personal preference.

I have a pair of the Blunnie's Eh! Boot - strictly for the Canadian market.

My girlfriend just ordered a pair online recently and it's her second pair. She seems to be a big fan of the Blundstones for all of her equestrian needs. Seem a bit pricey for a pair of boots to me, though :D

Just ordered a pair of Redbacks for my son and a pair for me. I hope they are as comfortable as they look. Should be handy as I am in and out of the house alot lately.

My brother sells redbacks, and can get them for me at cost, but I am also looking to wear them in my business casual office, and they look a little too casual for my environment. Plus I like the actual heel on the Blunnies. ( see Needle's post) But thanks to everybody for their input.

OK- Well they arrived this afternoon and my initial feeling is that Wow these are as comfortable as slippers and very light. The soles are cushy but firm enough like a boot should be so walking on rocks like you would hiking will be pain free. I am normally an 11 1/2 in boots and the Australian size is 10 which is an 11 US. So if you order them online they run a bit large. I am glad that you all posted about these as I would have never given them a try otherwise. My feet are pretty prone to hurting but I think these will be great....Thanks!

I'm might try a pair if my Blunnies ever wear out. I've had them a little over a year and I just love 'em.
