Blunt or Needle Nose?

6 inch channel locks, they fit in a niteize clip pockets xl along with a pair of wire cutters, crescent wrench, screwdriver and room for a couple other odds n' ends

Hi,

I like the needle nose type for a multi-tool. But lately, I've been considering
going back to a simple slip-joint pliers and my Vic Soldier.

I prefer needlenose- they seem to allow a little more versatility. That said, my favorite tool is my SOG, and that one has wider, blunter, pliers than I would like. The Swiss Tool pliers are probably my favorite (I also like Leatherman pliers.)

To be completely blunt, I prefer a needle nose.
Simply because it's geared more towards wiring and the likes of finer work.
Blunt nose is strictly heavy duty.

Even if I carry a leatherman, you'll always find my CeeTees on me, because I prefer the slip joint design.

Blunt seems so much more "tactical" looking but I think needlenose is probably more useful.

Good question, dalee has posed a solution set I have thought about for a long time. I have a very sweet pair of 4" Snap On slipjoints
