Blunt tip folder?

I am looking for an EDC folder with a blunt tip. For example, the Ontario spec plus sp8 is a blade I like, but is there a folder somewhere with a similar blade design? Thank you for your help.

The Spyderco Rescue or Assist have blunt tips. The salt1 has a very rounded tip, but is still fairly pointy.

Look into sailing and rigging knives- they traditionally have a blunt tip. I've got a myerchin and it's a great knife, still one of my favorites. The story is that the captains used to break the tips of the men's knives so they wouldn't kill each other in a knife fight. In reality, it's probably just because it's a lot easier to work with when you're on a constantly moving platform working with one hand and holding on with the other. I always thought it was a cool story though. Why do you want a blunt tip blade? For aesthetics or for safety reasons? It'll be easier for us to recommend a knife if we know it's purpose.

cheers,

FH

+1 on Razels. Go custom if you can afford it, CRKT makes them aftermarket if you can't. Awesome all around knives!

Maybe I'm missing the point (ha-pun!)
Could you choose any knife that you like, and then grind off the tip?
