Search function isn't working right now, but thought I'd ask this for future referance.

How do you go about fixing a blunted or chipped off tip?

Like on different blade shapes(drop point, tanto, ect..)

In theory, its not very difficult. You just grind the point back on, loose whatever length came from the tip being rounded or cracked, then sharpen again. In practice its a little more difficult. If hand grinding, it may take considerable time. Using power tools can overheat the blade if you're not careful. I've done it with files, and with belt sanders. The file attempt was from a broken tip, the belt sander was mostly from rounding off the tip trying to sharpen with the belt sander.
