Got my new Blur from Knifeworks. Thank you Roger. Model # K1670S30V
First impression - Robust. It has a S30V stone washed blade which is imprevious to any kind of staining. The S30V blade is quickely becoming my favority steel. The handle is black aluminum with Trac Tec inserts, what ever that is. It gives it a nice tacky feel. The factory edge is very sharp and very even. The pocket clip is easily changed from tip down to tip up carry. It rides nice an low in my front right pocket. This is the first knife I've ever had with thumb studs that are angled to make room between the body and the stud. This is a nice touch. The Ken Onion AO opening system works great. When opening the sound that is created is very reassuring. The lock liner locks up nice an secure. My only wish is that the lock liner were a tad bit thicker. The overall impression is very positive.

I got the same knife you did. I love it. The blade gets dirty easily. Any tips on cleaning it?

I'm a newbie.:)

Alcohol or WD40 seems to clean the blade up real nice. I love the stone washed blade. It looks "seasoned". Like its been around for a while.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try a little "Panther Piss" (WD40) on the blade and see what happens.

The stone wash blade is what helped sell me on the Blur. I think it looks great.
