Blur Liner Lock!

I purchased a Kershaw Blur about a month ago. I've noticed that the Liner that locks the blade closed is already close to touching the opposite scale. What should I do? Will Kershaw cover this in there warranty? Should I send it in now or wait until it completely fails? If I send it in will they fix the problem or send me a brand new knife?
I'm disappointed because I really like this knife. :o I also just got into knives. This was my fourth knife and my first one to have a serious problem so I'm new to warranty/repair.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kershaw has excellent warranty and repair, send it in with a note describing the problem and they should fix you up.

Send it in. they will take great care of you. i'm sorry to hear it. there is a decent chance, depending on how bad it is and what is at fault, that you could get a new knife. they are great.

It's really easy to fix when you send it in. You can take that liner lock out of the scale and pop a brand new one in in like 10 minutes. Wala.

Nothing to worry about.

Oh, and it shouldn't fail, as in, the blade shouldn't close on you, no matter how much it wears (presuming the lockbar is too thick to fit in between the tang and the scale, which I believe it is). What'll happen is, as the interface continues to wear, it'll create space and develop vertical play.

Anywayyy, send it in, no prob.

Why don't you email them and find out for yourself. You sound rattled to the very core of your inner most being. :D
