Hi,
I just purchased a Blur in S30V and I absolutely love it. Smooth, quick and with a belly that rivals mine....full and ready for more...:)
Here's a question:

I took it apart to take the torsion bar out, just to see how it operates without it. Before I took it apart, the blade was dead center when closed. Now, it is just a bit off to the opposite of the framelock. It's just enough that the thick part of the spine scraps when i close it.

Any suggestions?

Take care,
Brett

I loosen all the screws up first, then i re tighten them, starting from the back of the handle and the pivot screw last. Its seems to work. I have had the centering problem before.

Hey, thanks for the tip. That helped a bit. I think I also may have switched the spacers around and am going to try to swap back to see if that completely corrects it.

Take care,
Brett

Try loosening the back screws on the folder and just taking baby twists with the pivot after that to set the blade where you want it in the center. Mine does that also and usually loosening up the back screws rather than overtighten them seems to help for some unknown reason.

They need only be snug not over tight.

Thanks STR! That helped also.

This one will probably be coming your way soon for a custom clip!

I hope you are well. I love the ouparator by the way. Nice knife that means business.

Take care,
Brett
