Does anyone know if the blurple g10 manix 2 will have skeletonized liners or full liners like the regular manix 2's? I really like the manix and have a couple of them but mostly the LW versions. I love the S110v lw and want to get the g10 version but will probably pass if it doesn't have skeletonized liners. I know the sprint runs and exclusives do but does the s110v count?

You are right there is quite a difference between the production Manix 2 and the Sprint Run models. I never would have imagined that I would actually think the skeletonized liners in a pocket knife made a difference...

... regardless, a dark blue Manix 2 in CPM S110V should have the lighter liners. If it doesn't I will have to console myself with the CPM blade, M4.

Looking forward to that Blurple Manix2.

Saves you the trouble of doing blade swaps with the lightweight model.

I just pre-ordered off of knife center and the description said full steel liners, that's all I know.

Straight from Spydercos website: https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=970

Built on a framework of full skeletonized stainless steel liners, the Manix 2’s handle is capped with textured dark blue G-10 scales that are the signature color of Spyderco’s elite family of CPM S110V knives."

Weighs 4.2 ounces.

Is it worth replacing my s30v Manix 2?

That's something you're going to have to decide for yourself. Personally, I think the S110V steel is the biggest upgrade. The weight savings of the skeletonized liners is negligible IMO. I do kind of like the blurple color but not enough to spend the extra money.

I carried my S30V G10 today for the first time IWB at 4:00 and I was quite surprised at how comfortable it was. The weight isn't really that big of a deal to me when carried in the front pocket either. So I'm not quite sure what all the fuss over skeletonized liners is all about. I think it's a desirable feature but not something I'd base a new knife purchase on.

For anyone still unsure, I received mine yesterday and it does have skeletonized liners. I love this blue and a weekly session on a strop is enough to keep this steel reasonably sharp enough. Looking forward to the milli dropping.
