What is Blurple? I can't seem to find a pic of the color, is it on a G10 Manix or the dark blue of the Manix 2 LW and is there anything special about it?

Blurple is nickname coined by the customers/forumites, I believe.

The color is actually listed as "Dark Blue" but it has a slight purple hue to it so it got the nickname "Blurple"

Its more of an indigo color, but that just my opinion.

Do a search for "Dark Blue Spyderco" and you will find your images you want.

That ^, and it is the color of the G10 versions with S110V steel - already available on the PM2, slated for the Military and Manix2 (not sure if there are others)

It's the blue-purple G10 scales for the delivered/upcoming S110v production models coming from Golden. The PM2 and Manix2 are out, but there's also the Native5 and Military that will be made with S110v

Then it has nothing to do with the dark blue Manix 2 LW with S110V steel?

The name "blurple"? No. The lightweight s110v Manix came out first in a dark blue color. There was early word of g10 models being released in s110v and most of us were expecting them to be the same color but they turned out (whether intentionally or accidentally) to have a much more purple hue to them. The name "blurple" starting floating around the forums almost immediately and stuck.

I have the LW dark blue Native 5 S110V, I prefer this much much better than blurple...

The Midnight Blue (official) is, as you can see, a Royal Blue color. It looks pretty nice, I think.

i think the official color is Royal Blue! not every ones cup of tee though,i got the PM2 because of its S110V steel with the intentions of replacing its scales with carbon fiber ones!if i can find some, but its a cool color even though.

It was a custom G-10 color that for some reason took a very long time to develop. Something about the stability of the color. As it turned out, the dark blue has a bit more red in it than planned, but since it was to be a color common to S110V models, we decided to keep it.

I dig the blurple. Black G10 gets tiresome after awhile and I don't have any need to sneak up on anyone with my knives, so a splash of color makes for a welcome break from the monotony. Happy Spyderco is offering it.

The "blurple" G10 was the deciding factor for me when I decided to pull the trigger and buy my first PM2. I don't regret it, it's a beautiful color. I'm more partial to a dark purple color most of the time, but man, Spyderco's blurple G10 certainly looks great. I wish Spyderco would release a dark green G10 (enough of that pale-ass jade nonsense) version of the Military and PM2, I'd buy both at MSRP they day they were released regardless of the steel. I'm hoping the Knifeworks exclusives fulfill this dream of mine.

I have the PM2 and the Manix and I love the color & the steel......enough black already!
