After using the regular aluminum version for over two years, I decided its time for an upgrade, and ordered a 1100-14. I really like the color of the 1100-14 over the Ti version, and I'm excited for the added weight (can do some damage ;)). Plus, the damascus metal wood grain look is very cool. Anybody have one of these? How do you like it? Post some pics if you can!

I bought one of these for my dad as a Christmas present. He loves it! he gets a TON of complements on it. He is a service writer and is already on his 3rd ink cartridge. That is how much he writes with it!!!

I’m excited, I love the faint damascus “metal wood grain” look.. I’ll try and take some detail pics when it comes

Like to see your photos. I have a BM Gold Class 470-131 Emissary knife with a Damasteel blade and IMO it is BEAUTIFUL. The BM photo on their web site either is very poor or the contrast between steels on the pen are much less than on my knife blade.

Yea BM does a lousy job photographing the detail, they should get multiple view shots of their product at least.. I love their damasteel/damscus in person.. I'll try to get some good shots :)

I went ape and ordered the Damasteel too along with the 1101-1 which is the black aluminum with carbide glass breaker version. Should be here Saturday or Monday.

Love the weight! Here's some quick shots with an iPhone - very nice detail, even inside the cap

That pen is a beautiful thing; I own it's 303 stainless brother and these always draw positive comments. The Fisher inserts are plentiful and write well!

I have been tempted by this pen over the last 6 months. I have a red and blue aluminum one to tide me over.
