BM 220 profile inconsistancy

Just recieved my 4th BM product-a 220. I've noticed that the flat profile (where the etchings are) is different on one side of the blade from the other where the flat profile tapers towards the front. The side with the BM logo looks just like the photos online, but the same profile on the other side is nearly 2mm wider. The dealer confirmed this condition on another blade he had. Has anyone else observed this condition on a 220? Is this an asymetrical design or a QC issue? The dealer says he'll check with BM next week.

I just went out to the shop to get mine...

No,, I think you got a bad grind..
Mine is perfectly ground on both sides..

Grinds are even,, and spaced well on both sides...

I thought as much, but it's nice to be sure. I should be hearing back from BM soon.
