I just bought one for a good price and i had a few questions about it.
The handles are all wobbly, and I was just wondering if that's the way they are,or if they just happen to loosen over time. And is there any way to tighten them up?
Also will benchmade cover this knife, like if i wanted to send it in for sharpening,or possibly a handle tightening(if it's even possible)
I already own a BM-42,and plan on getting another one soon.It cool to see how much these two balisongs differ, and how much BM has come along in making better balisongs through the years....peace

I couldn't tighten mine at all. My handles came out of the box wobbly with poor lock-up. BM will sharpen it, but they won't tighten it. I asked them the same question you are asking and they said they don't service the economy bali's like that [*read* adjust the handles]. The pin on that knife is one solid piece of steel. Maybe if you tried to smoosh it with a hammer the way some people do their tang pins. Just a suggestion. Don't do it if you think you might damage it. Good luck with your new knife!

That's why they were called the "International Series" and that is also why they were a lot cheaper. Anybody else seen how much the PC 158 International Series is on bladeauction.com?? Man, if edgefinder isn't happy!?!

Man, even as rare as they might be, anyone that pays more than a C-note for a Zamak Handled PC or BM, whew...I guess they have money to burn when they could be hunting something better.

That's an insane amount to pay for a knife that is guaranteed to break if you Manipulate it long enough. How many of the Zamak handled Balis would you bust and still have the same, good ole' 44, 45 or 48 going?

Probably 44-48 of the zamak Bali-Songs will have the same life as a 44,45, or 48!!!!

Unless the person will just put it away and keep the 158 NIB for another 10-20 years.
