I have a BM 42 and a 45, but my favorite Bali is a BM 35 that I bought about six years ago. This bali's box is marked "custom-finish." This item shows more detail work than other BM BaliSongs: its surface appears more burnished and the holes on the handle are beveled and well-tooled. More importantly, the pins attaching the handles to the blade are concealed inside the handle -- there are no pinheads visible where the handles connect with the blade. Also, the blade is mirror-burnished and sharpened to a keener edge than in any other BM bali I have seen. Does BM still produce such fine custom versions like this one?

Can you please describe the Models 9, 41, 43, and 67. I am familiar with all the others, but I have never heard of these.

PC41 is utility (BM41 = ?)
PC43 is weehawk (BM43 = ?)
These are 'benchmade' series of PC era.. that I believe the name 'Benchmade' was derived from ..

Chris is actually right, they were the PC 41 and PC 43, but if BM made them now they would be BM 41 and BM 43.
The PC 9 was exactly like the 30 but the swedge looks like the 42 instead of the 30/35/45. It had the exposed pins and non-countersunk holes.
The PC 67 was exactly like the 35 with the countersunk holes and polished pins but it had a blade like the 42 (agressive swedge).

The PC 9 was exactly like the 30 but the swedge looks like the 42 instead of the 30/35/45. It had the exposed pins and non-countersunk holes.
The PC 67 was exactly like the 35 with the countersunk holes and polished pins but it had a blade like the 42 (agressive swedge).
