So, I just got this and needed to do some customization. Having heat anodized a Ti Spork, I kinda knew what to do.
All I did was take the knife, clean it up with some acetone, wrap a sock around the blade, and held it carefully over the stove burner. I kept moving it back and forth so the end would heat up evenly.
I was surprised to find that the latch is Titanium as well.
