BM 42 - AS IN FOUR DAYS!!!!!!

Where did I get a 42 -AS in just four days? Why at www.nwcutlery.com of course. They had 3 left! There was 4, but that one is already on its way to me! Shiped 3 hours after the call! They will take COD's too! Which is why I will get mine this thursday. The price for me was 162.50. That was for express delivery, and a "Free" BM tee shirt. That explains the price, but I don't mind.

I ordered one from 1SKS the first of feb, and it still is not here, so I chaged that order to a 42-S, and they claim they have a batch of them coming in in 10 days. I've heard that before. 500 people on the waiting list though!

I will explain name later if anyone is woundering how I got it.
 
I picked up two in one day just a couple of weeks ago. Of course, I paid full retail too, but I didn't get no free BM tee shirt.

Anyway, Northwest Cutlery is one of my recommended dealers. They're good people.

Welcome aboard Mr. ZipTieNinja. I'm happy to see that the little technical difficulties we had earlier today didn't discourage you.

The retail on the BM shirt is about $30. He also had express shipping which probably cost $10. So, his actual price on the knife was about $120-125. That's good for an AS.

I just spoke with 1SKS about the same thing. I ordered about the same time you did. I was told that BM sent out the shipment, but it got lost in the mail and returned to BM.

They sent it out to 1SKS again two days ago. I was told to expect my knife within a week. Here's hopin'... for the both of us.

MAKE THAT THREE DAYS! It came twoday at about 2:00pm! It's light, and fast! I already took the sharp corners of the spine of the blade

Feels much better now. Why dosen't Benchmade just round the edges? I think it is an earlier one too, the coating is blue, green, pink, purple.... depending on the lighting. Or are the newest ones like that still?

I forgot to mention the tee shirt to the woman who took my call, and by the time I remembered and got to a phone, 3 hours after ordering, the knife had shiped! She told me that they would send it with my next order though, which will be a seration sharpener or the Gill Hiben book on throwing knives. They don't carry Militec lube, I checked.

My name (I think someone asked, or was that a comment on the shirt price, oh well..) came from a friend. I use zip ties a lot, for everything, and I have a short, black katana by Uninted Cutlery. Well, I fastened the sord to my backpack with zip ties...

Contruction tip, zip (aka cable) ties work great for holding thins in place wile the glue dries!
