I just got this thing, and after a few hours of not-quite-constant manipulation, one of the handles is starting to squeak. Safe handle, as a matter of fact. Is this due to the need for Militec-1, or a loose screw?

This has been the case with all the new BM Models for me (42, 43, and 47). Just add a drop of Militec-1 to each joint, work it in, and it will be better than new!

Hehehe....the same thing happened to me. My new bm squeak really bad. All you need is to miltec-one it up and its perfect.(almost)

Militec is supposed to be the best. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. By no means though will another lubricant damage your balisong. Go to your local sporting goods store and pic up some Rem Oil made by Remington. Its only a couple of dollars and is made to be used as a gun lubricant. It sure beats the hell out of your knife squeaking for another week while waiting on the militec to show.

Miltec-1 only toke 3 days to get to me:D and I also live in washington state. Thats like pretty far from where miltec-1 is shiped from.
