I think BM does a lot of things right with there folders but I have yet to find wone that really suits me. I had high hopes for the 420 resister but alass...
The damn knife is super thick and though I am reassured by sighted friends that the g10 overlays look really cool they don't seem to offer anything at all in terms of grip security or traction. They just amake the knife thicker which annoys me greatly because I like everything else about this folder except its width. The blade shape is cool and practical, that fit and finish are excellent, the axis lock is great, the pocket clip is super low profile concealing almost the entire knife within the pocket. Yep lots of nice features and overall good design but the handle thickness makes me extremely aware of the knife in my pocket and even in fairly loose pants prints significantly. So as much as I want to like and carry this knife (only partially based on it being the 420 model;-)> the search for the right BM folder continues.
If you have big hands or like an especially thick handle then check it out, its a sweet knife and the weight is good just lots of empty space between the scales.
