BM 425 + 426 discontinued?

Anyone know why these knives had such a short production run? I had been considering the 426, but before the money came along, the model went away. Oh well, I just bought a 740 instead, and I like it even better.
 
THat's too bad because the 425 is one of the best knives BM has put out in the last couple of years. You could always get a Hybrid from Mike himself. If they are available....

No. But if you browse H&K catalog, you will be surprised about "snoody's density" in it.

By the way, I have bought my 425 next day I have seen that it's discontinued :). To tell the truth, it seems for me that 426 would be better for me, but they have never sell it here :(

By the way, Gravitator was dull until I have completeley reprofiled it with diamond stones.

P.S. Today I have bought in box 910 stryker from M2 steel. It seems today to be rare enough :)
 
MY guess is that it's because the 425 was a fugly knife with limited appeal and low sales. You can still find them online at several sites for around $80.
