I just got my bm43 today. To my suprise it is an numbered one, it is 68/100 bowie introduction. I am now a little hesitant to use it as a E.D.C. along with my 42s (not numbered). What do you guys think? Should I use it like I use my 42s or keep it in the house to play with and not scratch it up:confused:

IMHO, I'd put it up.....:(.... Needless to say, BM only numbered 100 so it will be pretty unique considering they'll sell gazillions  of these things. I know it's a tough choice but I'm sure you'll make the right one.....

I'll be go to Hell if someone else didn't come up with a prototype BM bali. You and Dawkind must have the same kind of luck, or you're both in it with Gollnick. :D:D

I have used my (first) BM42 first prod. #70/500 as my EDC for about a year now. I love it, and have another first prod. that I keep in mint cond. just in case my #70 gets confiscated.:(
Needless to say, I have "screwed up" the collectors value of the knife, but the sentimental value of having this as a knive I use for everything is worth much more.
If you use it, you'll be happy to have a quality knife when you need it. If you don't, it'll appriciate in value as an investment, and maybe even a christmas tree orniment. You're lucky either way.!!
