Ditched the backspacer for some Ti standoffs. I think it came out well.

Bought them online from a vendor that sells parts and knife kits. Wasn't just plug and play so to speak. Had to grind down .015 total to get the right width and then drill out the existing threads to keep the pass through handle screws. I'm quite happy with it.

After grinding down the stand offs, how's the sweet spot/blade play/smoothness?

It's a totally different knife, functionally and aesthetically. Smooth operation and no play.
