Hello just bought me a BM griptilian 550. Well i have to say i like it alot. Its light and a good knife.I have been reading alot of reviews about the knife on here but they all keep sayin the same thing. "Good knife". i was wondering how strong this knife is because the handle feels alittle light fer strong use. i have been carrying a crkt m16-04 and i dont like the tanto on it. so bought the benchmade great looker to. Will this stand up to all the use i have put my m16 threw? cuting boxes. i know i cant baton this knife like the m16 but its not gonna brake on me if i drop it will it? thanks Phil

Good luck breaking it at all.

Unless you put it in a vise and bend it you'll be fine.

I don't see why you couldn't baton it. I think it's a better knife by far than the M16 is.

Actually, I carried a m16 tanto for quite a while, then bought a 550. I have never looked back. I EDCed it for 5 months in northern Ontario as a guide, put it through hell. I've since added the 552 (Ritter Grip) which is identical except for steel and blade shape. I love Grips, great ergos for my hand. The 550 will do anything you need it to do within reason. Good choice

I have a 550s and a RSK grip--the BM will easily keep up with your CRKT-and BM guarantees them for life.
