BM 551 question.

So yesterday I picked up a brand new full size 551 from REI. I have a mini grip in D2, and even though I'm not a huge BM fan I like this knife. I got the full size grip home and was playing with it. It came wicked sharp(unlike my D2 mini) and the FnF are pretty good. All in all I like this knife, and am happy with my purchase. While playing with it I noticed that when closed the blade was slightly off center, and rubbed on the liner when opening and closing. I adjusted the pivot and it didn't change at all. So I brought the knife back the same day and exchanged it for a new one. When I looked at all the knives they had in stock they all seemed to be slightly off center when closed. Is this pretty standard on the 551 or am I just too picky?

Slightly off-center, not a big deal and they can be adjusted with tightening the pivot.

Rubbing the liner? Not normal, and if you cannot adjust the blade so that it will not rub, then something is wrong.

My mini-grip is slightly off-center when I have the pivot tightened where I like it, but it is not a problem and the blade does not rub.
