bm 610 rukus

I just got this knife 3 days ago. Never owned a BM before. The rukus was so stiff it was hard to open right out of the box and after three days it is now opening perfectly but it has some lateral play. Should I tighten the pivot pin a touch or would this cause problems later?

Alot of the time it only takes 1/4 turn or so to make the difference. Give it a drop of lube while it's loose, and then adjust it like you want it.

once I get it where I want it should I use locktite.

i have a mini rukus (615), the Benchmade blue box would be a good investment, its like 12 bucks or something. the torx pieces will sevre u well when worknig with MOST folders locktite is not necessary. but like joe-bob says, just a slight turn will sufice.
