BM 630 -Anyone use this as an EDC?

I recently purchased a BM 630-400 (Skirmish).....I am really happy with the knife, but not sure about the size of it for an EDC. Does anyone use this knife as an EDC??? I'm not sure about the laws for carrying a knife this size???

I carry mine as a EDC, I live in Florida and its never been a problem
so far. But I am sure no matter where you live someone in law enforcement
could hassel you for such a large blade. I have been pulled over
once and had an officer ask why I was carrying such a large blade
(it was a CRKT not sure which one ) I told him I used it for work
and he didnt mention it again..I would check the laws where you live
maybe ask around or just call a local cop shop.

One problem with the Skirmish is that humongous pocket clip. It sorta shouts out to LEOs, "Look at me, I'm a very large knife!!"

I know a few folks who have replaced that clip with the one from the Mini Skirmish, which doesn't look nearly so obvious. Benchmade will send you a "replacement" clip for $5 shipped, if you ask 'em nicely.

Never thought about switching the clip... Nice idea...

I'm carrying it for a week now, and I think it's great !!! (I just painted black the color dots on the handle)

But I live in Brazil, and there are no blade restrictions (yet) around here.
