Wow, is all I can say. It's by far the best true production knife I have ever seen, much less owned! Now chicks say, "Is that a Skirmish in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me". This thing is huge, but fits well in my hand. I have always leaned towards large folders for EDC and this knife is no excption. Thanks Duane at EDC Knives! BTW, side by side it's virtuallly as large as a Buck/Strider Solution, but will fit in the accesory pouch on the sheath. For those on pre-order lists, it's very much worth the wait. :) pm
 
Can't agree with you more than that Hank. I think I will hae to get another.
 
You guys are causing me financial problems. I thought I was going to skip this one...
 
Mine just came in today. Got it from Duane Weikum at EDC Knives (Thanks Duane!). Wow is she a beauty! And the blade is impressively large, for sure!
 
I have one coming from EDC. The word I got was that it was sent yesterday. I have been reading the reviews from the lucky few that have them. I am sitting here going nuts waiting for it to come and wouldn't you know it, I am leaving today and will return Sunday! The high point is that I am hoping that it will be waiting for me to drool all over when I return.
 
got mine too. its a masterpeice. i love it.

i complained about it being too big a few months ago. it is. at least for my tastes. but who cares! it's an almost flawless knife! and its a production!
 
I knew this was going to be a big hit for Benchmade, but this is ridiculous. Everyone is selling them as fast as they come in. I originally thought it was going to be too large for me, I would love to see one with a 3.5" blade. Who am I kidding though, I'll have to get one (or two ;) ).

I'm very happy for Neil. He is a great designer and a great guy. He really deserves much success.
 
see the "other" [u*n] forum for a pic. of a "flamed" 630. anyone seen one with filework on the back of the scales? what else could be done (besides bead blasting the blade) to upgrade this beauty?

I'm probably alone, but i think of beadblasting as a downgrade. :)

I wouldn't mind seeing a backspacer with filework added.
