Let me start with WOW!!! Big, sharp, ergonomic, overbuilt, sharp, just what I look for in a knife! This knife fit my hand like my hand was there at time of conception. Carried mostly in right rear pocket of jeans, easy access, fast deployment, easy return. Just what I look for in a knife. Knife arrived from Mr. Blackwood RAZOR SHARP, cut everything I put the edge to. Here it is a week later and the blade is still RAZOR SHARP. Just what I look for in a knife. If I ever end up in a wilderness survival situation, or back in a combat situation, I sure do want to have a Skirmish on me. Congrats to Mr. Blackwood for an incredible design! Just what I look for in a knife. Great big WELL DONE to Benchmade for excellent production at a remarkable price! Just what I look for in a knife.( Redundant to the point of making a point)Special thanks to Dr. Lathe, Tom, and all at BFC for making this possible. Thanks again, Marty

I would love to wake up and find one of these under my tree, but unfortunately it's not in my budget(too many other presents to buy for wife, kids, folks etc.) That doesn't mean I can't dream though!! Once again, thanks for the opportunity to handle such a wonderful knife, Marty :D :DBenchmades & Sugar Plumbs...Hmmmmm?

I too have this knife. Had it for about three months - absolutely love it. Its my EDC knife, and will be coming with me to the barracks after OSUT.

Hey guys,
What kinda stuff have you tested your 630 out on? I love mine, but haven't really cut much of anything with it, 'cause I'm always usin' somethin' else. Has anyone had to sharpen their's yet?
Thanks,
Mike :)

I gave mine just a bit of a touch up sharpening out of the box but that's it. The other night I got bored at work so I took out my Skirmish and just started looking for things to cut. I took swinging blows at heavy carboard box lids. Sliced 'em right off!

That wasn't quite enough for me so I started whacking some plastic 3 gallon buckets. That knife just butchered those helpless buckets! When the dust had settled I wiped down the blade. Spotless! Not a mark on that blade and still razor sharp! And still not a hint of blade play.

I've never handled a Sebenza or any other custom for that matter but this just has to be one of the best big folders out there. At the price it's a no brainer. Now I want a full size Blackwood Skirmish! :D

Thanks for the reply Central Scrutinizer. I want a full sized one too, but it looks like the aftermarket will be our only hope for a while. The prices you can get the 630 for are AMAZING.

Anyone else got some 630 stories?

Guys, this is one of the most awsome folders i've ever held! As if you couldn't tell that from my review! After being lucky enough to be in this passaround, I have put the Skirmish on my short list! Check out New Graham, in stock, great price! Just my .02, again, just can't say enough about this knife!!Marty

Here's some pics, sorry I didn't share earlier. These are awesome knives for the money . fuzzy.
