BM 670 Apparition?

Has anyone handled this knife yet? What are your thoughts? I have been wanting one of these since I first saw a picture in one of my most recent knife mags. I have seen that many knife retail sites have them available for preorder. Any clue when they will actually be available?

I called BM about this particular model a few weeks ago and was told that they would start shipping to dealers mid to late May.

I saw that knife in the BM catalog and thought it looked really cool. I like the idea of a knife that you can switch between assisted opening and fully manual. Are there any other knives available with this feature that anyone knows of ? Im pretty sure not from benchmade but maybe another maker has one?

I believe that on the speed-safe Kershaws that you can take out the torsion bar that opens them to have a fully manual knife. I really like this knife, it looks classy yet has some "tactical" features in it that I like and wouldn't mind making this part of my EDC or using it when the big bad 806D2 doesn't look right(like formal dinners and such). Also, because of its assisted opening and being a Benchmade
