This knife has a flat grind correct?

Do you find there is enough blade for daily chores?

Also, does it have a stainless liner(s)?

Lastly, does the small section of g10 provide enough grip?

Thanks for the answers... Feel free to add any other insight.

I had the chance to use one of these for about a week. I loved it. I just ordered one today.

I was gonna order the 940 but I really wanted the 707's blade. So I got one coming.

The Aluminum scales have such a nice grip that I don't think you'd even need the G10 inserts that the 707 has. I like them there none the less. It's the smoothest Benchmade (opening and closing) I've ever used. I've owned about 10 different Benchmade's.

If you have the chance to hold one do it because you'll want one. I originally thought the knife was too small but after a week of trying one out it was the perfect EDC. I miss it now and that's why I just bought one :D

Yes....it's a high flat grind.

I have ordered one... I just wanted to make sure that's what I was wanting. Ya' know knife buying can cause buyer's remorse rather quickly! Looks like I'm in the clear on this purchase.

thanks for the responses.

Yes it is a saber grind because the whole blade is not ground. But the part that is ground is flat ground.

Correct me if I'm wrong; But, isn't the saber grind usually on larger knives?

If so, does this grind inhibit the cutting ability of the 707?

It does appear on some larger sized knives, but I wouldn't worry about it not cutting. Benchmade makes good knives, so you don't have to worry about that. One thing I would suggest is putting your own edge on it though. Some people, including myself have noticed that BM does not put a very sharp edge right out of the box.

so what you are saying is that it is a flat-saber grind on a modified clip point blade? is that correct?
