BM 707 vs. 705

Hi guys,

A question for someone who has both:
How much sllimmer is the 707 comparing to the 705 ?

Can someone post a pic of these two together ?

I suppose You mean a handle thickness? ;)

Sorry, no photos, but 705's handle is 1 mm thicker.
So at that thickness - ~.4" - it's already noticeable difference, but not very much.
 
Move the decimal some more. more like .04", but that's without actually doing the math.

No, the decimal is already on the right place - I meant the handle thickness at which You can already notice that ~.04" (1 mm) difference between them both.

It's .42" for 707 and about .46" for 705, so about .4" ;)
 
I have both too, and find the 707 has a significantly leaner feel to it.
But a full feeling blade, as compared to the 705.

I love both, but EDC the 705 because of the Non-wearing-like G-10, as compared to the T6 AU on the 707.
I also removed the pocket clip on the 705 as i carry it in the bottom of my left front pocket, and it feels right at home there.(710 clipped to right front pocket) :D

Been thinking of doin the blade switch between them, putting the 707's blade into the 705 handle as others have done. Afterall i EDC Dress the 707, and opposite the 705. So having the fuller blade on the 705 would work out well i thinks. :o

Myself, i would snag a 705 if still availible where your at, thier discontinued i believe and are a worthy treasure in most pockets.


I am curious to see how other people's 707 that they EDC'd have held up in appearance and shape.

Easiest would be , Get both if you can afford them and enjoy having a dressy version and a work version.
