Picked up the Benchmade 710 from New Graham the other day and have been carrying it at work for about a week. Really a comfortable knife to both carry and use. It's light and slim and rests perfectly along the seam of my front pocket without being a bother. Very sharp blade and I like the shape too. It wouldn't break my heart if Benchmade ground these just a little thicker towards the point (upper swedge maybe) or even went to a .125 blade thickness, but overall, not a bad knife at all.

My only real complaint? Just a little bigger than I really like to carry--especially around town. The 710 is kinda big and the 705 is kinda small. I seem to recall some discussion of a medium sized 710 (715?) at one time and wondered if anyone else felt like they could still really use this size of 710? I know I could.................

I thought 710-705 = 5. Maybe it should be just that: the BM 5. Or the 707.5. Not sure which.

I agree. I'd buy a knife in the same design, but middle-of-the-road size. I already own the other two.

I'd be the first in line to buy one, especially if it had the 707's blade profile.

BM705 blade is 2.95" and BM710 is 3.9" so in between there is the BM940 at 3.4" which has'nt got same shape but is quite nice also.
I have one that as become my EDC since last year...
I think his size is perfect... that's why i recently order a BM710, just to see if 1/2 inch would'nt even be better....;)
yes, human beeing never happy with what he's got !:D

The big difference for me with the 940 is the aluminum scales. Just not a fan of metal scales. Slippery when wet. Less temperature resistance.
