Finaly I decided to change my Endura for something more... respectable. Plus Russian laws got abit better (basically -- any folder under with blade under 150mm(6") can be bought and carried freely) -- naturally I wanted to get something "forbidden". So decided that it would be BM 710 with neither serrations nor coating. The only detail I am not yet sure about -- is recurve on blade. It is rather light, but I'm not sure about sharpenning it on flat stone. So can it be done? Or I'll need narrow "sticks"?
Thanks beforehand!

Something like the Spyderco Sharpmaker (or any "V" sharpener with round "sharpening rods") is best for sharpening recurve blades.

I use a Sharpmaker for my 710, and the corners of the rods work fine on the recurved portion of the blade.

Yes it can, the easiest way is to use the corners of the benchstone. You can do it on the flats but it is difficult to do so and get a consistent angle and not grind out the curve. I don't find slight curves like that one problematic but something like the Dodo is near impossible to hone on a flat stone and keep the origional profile and get a crisp and consistent edge angle.
