While on vacation in Fundy National park (NB Canada) i took some pictures of my Benchmade 710 that turned out pretty good. I have always been impressed by the pictures others have posted and decided to give it a try. Keep in mind these are just amateur pictures taken with an older digital camera.

Thanks for sharing your pictures, they are nice. The 710 sure makes a nice travel knife, eh? Did you use the knife a lot on your vacation? If so could you please tell us what you used it for? The 710 is my favorite folder design.

Yes the 710 is a great design, and I did use it a lot on my vacation. I never go anywhere without a good knife, they always prove very useful especially since they are always within reach. I EDC the 710 and a Swisstool and they get a used quite often. Here is a list of some of the things I used my EDC for during my vacation.

BM 710
Making fire sticks to start campfires
Cutting hotdog roasting sticks
Cutting rope and twine around campsite
Opening packages
Food preparation
Trimming fishing line after tying on a lure
Cutting up a box to fit in garbage
Helped a fellow camper cut rope to set up his tarp.
My girlfriend used it to trim some loose threads on her jeans (she has Spyderco Delica but it was in her purse and my knife was closer)

Swisstool
Moving hot pot over campfire
Fixing my girlfriends front break on her bike
Opening canned food
Removing hook from a fish
Pulling out a splinter
Cutting wire holding wood bundle together
