BM 710 pivot

do i need to loctite this pivot like a balisong or is it usually not necessary on a folder like the 710?

I had to loctite mine.

I didn't loctite mine, and it seems to be stable (4 months or so). I guess it could vary by each knife, though.

What he said. Or purple, which is weaker, works fine, but harder to find. Don't even think about red or green or, heaven forbid, black. You'll strip the Torx head trying to remove the pivot screw.

I don't loctite mine, but then I am frequently tightening the pivot screw...

My first one didn't need any touch up. Stayed rock solid.

My second one needed to be constantly re-tightened so Teflon tape fixed it permanently.
