Have these two knives been discontinued? I really like the green and red handles, and I did find a place on line selling them for $84.95. These will be my first Benchmade knives. Should I hit the "purchase" button? (feeling a little trigger happy)

In a word, yes. Not sure if they are discontinued, but they are hard to find and are both great knives. If you can find them under $100 it's a bargain.

Go, buy, then tell us where you found them. I would sure like to pick up a 735 for that price and I'm sure a few others here will want to pick up one or the other, too.

Great find!

crud, I emailed them and they said they are not available. :grumpy:

730 and 735 are discontinued, but you can still have 732 with BK1 black coated blade which is in production. And they are worth 85$ for sure, 730/732/735 is my favourite Benchmade.

both are excellent knives--i have a 730s,green and black, knife of the month for nov.2000 and couldn't be happier with it--if you can find one snag it up  :)

Check out Sooner State Knives. They appear to have some 730s and 732s in stock. I've been off and on about whether or not to pick one of these up too. I really have been wanting to add my first Emerson to my collection though....decisions, decisions..

You have to inquire as alot of internet dealers do not update their offerings and still have knives that they do not carry anymore!

I've had good luck with everything listed there being in stock. Good point though.

Yes, and the worst way to find out it is not in stock is after adding it to the shopping cart, filling in the CC#, then waiting and finally calling them just to find out they sold their last BM 43 over a year ago. :grumpy:

Sorry, still a little grumpy from that one. For some reason that dealer is no longer selling knives.

i know, i hate that. Happened to me before. I don't know why these folks don't update their websites, instead they allow you to enter these products into your shopping cart and go so far as to enter all your info, and cc #. :grumpy:
