Good News: Yesterday my BM-730 arrived

Bad News: The clip is loose enough to rattle against the scales ;(

At this point I do not know if the threads were stripped during assembly of the knife or the rascals where not screwed down hard enough.

The smallest torx driver that I have is a T-7, it appears that I will need a smaller driver.
Does the Benchmade Torx set have a driver that can handle the small screws that hold on the clip?

I don't really want to send the knife back to WOW cuz it probably will mean a two week turnaround...

Thanks,

Hey Jerry...

That Sucks!!

Yaa the BM kit will have the right size you'll need..
In a fix I use a small allen key,, but it's not good to do...

I had a problem similar to that on a BM-910. Just tighten all three of the clip screws and the clip will stop wobbling. Be careful not to strip the screws. The new torx kit has every size of torx you'll need for a BM knife. The 730's contoured handle makes the clip much tighter, but you eventually get used to it. It gets a pretty solid grip on clothing, so it will be pretty hard to lose the 730.
