I want either a BM 750 Pinnalce or a BM Axis AFCK
People who have these please give your opinions of these two.
Which do you reccomend.

Well the Pinnacle is discontinued, so that might play a part. I own an 806 and it is a great knife. Comfortable, if a bit large. Great steel. but it only comes coated, which is a problem for some people. I would like to pick up a 750 one of these days because I like the design and would like to try a frame lock. Some folks refer to the 750 as a gray ****. personally I like it. Reminds me of an evolution of the 600, my favorite Benchmade. Either way I don't think you can go wrong. One thing to keep in mind if this is for SD is that the G-10 will provide better purchase than the Ti. The finger groove also makes the grip more secure. Good luck.

the 750 is too hard to close, there are better frame locks out there.

806 is a good knife

I have 710 Axis Lock, original 800 AFCK, 750 Pinnacle and 806 Axis Lock AFCK. Being pressed to keep only one of them greatly probably I would keep Axis Lock AFCK.
Why?
  • It fits my hand better than 750 and 710
  • No recurved edge what could accomplish resharpening, especially in outdoor conditions
  • I like opening hole (even this oval one ;) ) over double sided thumb stud on 710 and even more – over single sided stud on Pinnacle
However all are great knives and you can’t go wrong with either.
Try to handle them all and choose the one what fits your hand better. The rest of difference points take far less important place in real life knife use that it sometimes is usual to assume.

Sebenza is refered to as the Grey T---.
Get the 750.Will last a lifetime.IMHO

The 750 has been out of production for almost a year, so it may be hard to find new. The For Sale forums might turn up a few, however. It was a good effort by BM IMO. It was sometimes called the poor man's Sebenza. In some ways it was even nicer--blade shape was great and it fit the hand really well. As far as fit and finish, the Sebenza was still and is, IMHO, in a class by itself.

You really can't go wrong with the 806 Axis. It's available in D-2 steel now and the knife has legendary handling characteristics. It's large, but it fits the hand (gloved or ungloved) like few other knives. It's a modern classic that you will never regret.

Good luck with your choice.:)
