Well guys,

I know the differences between these two are only steel (being the D2 coated) and thumb stud or oval hole.

Considering this, wich one for EDC ?

I carry an 805. I don't care much for black blades (806D2).

My 806SD2 is a great EDK. I prefer the hole, just wish it were round.

Yes they do have different steels, and they do have a little different blade profile. It appears the TSEK might have a stronger point, then again I might be wrong ;)

The 805 is the easiest opening thumb stud-ed knife I have ever owned, period. There is plenty of room between the thumb stud and the handle (unlike some knives), you can find it easy and get it moving fast.

Not that the AFCK is hard to open mind you... I just think the TSEK is often seen as the ugly step-child... when it can be a good choice.

I love both knives, and therefore I own both. And if you can afford it, I would recommend the same... then you can have one for each hand, which could be really cool...

How about the BM710 with M2 steel? If you can find it. :) I find the 806's handle to be a bit long.
