BM 885 Mini Darkstar?

Any opinions on the Benchmade 885 Mini Darkstar? I know nothing about this knife. I found them (NIB) for 50 dollars, delivered, while surfing the Web for an EDC knife. I have my choice of gold/gray liners, plain/combination and BT2/uncoated blade. This seems like a pretty good deal if not a steal. :D

Any thoughts?

I've seen the full sized version. It was a very nice piece. I'm actually going to order an 885S next week. :)
 
Hi,

I have a couple of them. They're pretty good for EDC. Light, good sized blade, firm lockup and when you sand down the G10 a bit they're thinner and don't wear out your pockets. :)

The only thing about them I don't like is the edges of the liners feel a bit sharp as they stick out further than the scales. When used hard it could be irritating but for EDC/office use its OK... (just had a thought, maybe you could round the edges of the liners with sandpaper...hmmm....)
