Hi, everybody. I have a BM 921, which Il ike a lot, and discovered what seems a flaw to me.
Everytime I cut something with the primary blade and use some pressure I push the secondary blade down and it touches it´s spring. Also when I let the secondary blade "snap" closed, it touches it´s spring.
The result is a nice dull portion of the edge.

Does every 921 owner experience this problem? is there a cure?

Is it part of the design? Some kind of "auto-dulling feature"?

My 921 came factory-fresh w/ a 3/8" long flat spot on the little blade, same problem as you describe.
Love the knife otherwise, looks & handles great, main blade Axis lock is super-smooth.

You could grind the edge back a little bit so it doesn't contact the spring, then resharpen it. It'll be a bit of work, but should do the trick.

I've noticed the same thing..My 921 is an early production one. I wonder if BM corrected the problem on later runs. Also the contact point where the clip hits the scale happens to contact the screw that holds the Axis module in place and makes it somewhat difficult to withdraw the knife.

Both these things are easily remedied and I would have to think BM has taken care of it. One on these days I'll ship my 921 back for a bit of remedial service.

I heard that BM fixed that problem. You might call them and see if they will fix it under warranty.
