I picked up one of these at the gun shop today. The owner uses one of the green-handled 940s, and had shown me the versions he had in the display case, but I had never handled them.
The 940 looked interesting, but nothing I couldn't live without. Today they had the blue October 2000 version on display and I had to check it out, since reading about it on the forum. As soon as I held it in my hand, I said "I'll take it".
This thing is gorgeous! It is much more secure and comfortable in the hand than I had assumed (know where that get's you) it would be.
Maybe I've been lucky with my AFCKs and Nimravus, but all my BMs have come shaving sharp, and the edges have all been easy to maintain. I noticed the post complaining of dull BMs. Anyway, the 940 is the sharpest so far. The only production blades I have seen come sharper were some Cold Steel and Blackjack knives.
My only gripes are that the pocket clip is so tight I can barely get it over the pocket of my jeans, and the handles seem prone to scratching (got a little one on mine, already).
Wish I could post a pic. Maybe someone else can post one.
Can't review it, cause it hasn't done anything yet, but I think this may become my favorite folder-until next week when I order my MT LCC

btw, fit and finish are extremely good. This thing really is beautiful.
