Just picked up the benchmade 940D2CF from the post office. I now have the 940 in my 3 favourite things, Titanium, Carbon fiber and the colour blue :D.





Do any of you have anything similar in your rotation?
 
I think I might need to try and snag one of the CF 940s after seeing this...that thing is gorgeous, and its D2 that is awesome. (I HIGHLY doubt I'll ever have such luck)

All you need now is a Gold Class 940 ..... ;)

Spyderco Titanium Military in CPM-M4, and in M390. The DLC'd CF Military is a placeholder for another Titanium MIiitary in S90V :)

Man it was a toss up between these three or the 940ti-91 (the gold class with the anodized blue titanium, carbon fiber bolsters and damascus blade) but Im glad i went for these three because the 940ti-91 would've just sat in my drawer, it really is too pretty to use. Its worth getting the CF 940 if you can, I got pretty lucky I put up a WTB thread and within a few hours I had someone pm me. It wasn't cheap but it wasn't an opportunity I could pass up

It really is a nice blue and it contrasts the regular purple back spacer quite nicely (a lot better than the regular green handle imo).
also @gooeytek, thats an awesome set of millitaries. Im thinking of doing something similar with the paramilitary 2 (my other favorite production knife). I don't know if spyderco will ever make a titanium paramilitary but until then i think ill try to get the PM2 in all of the different crucible steels
 
Ah, such beautiful 940's.

Does anyone know the best way to stay abreast of Benchmade's sprint runs (besides checking their forums)?

I always seem to miss limited edition 940's, haha.
