I am trying to decide which to purchase. I know the BM is a great knife as I have the stryker 910. But anyone have experience with MOD knives? Ive never seen one. How is the build quality and edge compare. Thank you for your input.

I _love_ my MoD Trident. I always take it camping, and when I take off for the day, exploring the mountains on my DRZ400.

MOD knives are a cut above BM and very much the equal of Microtech.

The Trident is an excellent design. Both it and the Tempest I have are hard to find used on these forums which says that those that buy them keep them.

That said the BM 94X series are excellent knives. I use one as my work place EDC. However it's not the heavy duty multipurpose knife a Trident is. Hope that helps.

MOD stands behind their products, their customer service is great.

Thank you. Ive decide to go with the BM. 2 reasons:
1.serrations are on less of the blade.. probably better for most cutting duties.
2. Slightly cheaper..Not really a money issue just value vs. use of knife.
I am eagerly awaiting my 942s. Next knife...Trident.
