I was looking to get a new knife and was looking at both the Benchmade 943 and the 960 but I cant decide what one I would prefer. I keep changing my mind about what one I would like more so I thought I would ask you what you though about each knife and wondered if you have any suggestions. I want a knife is not too big to be carried or too small to be usable. I plan to use this as an EDC knife for general proposes but would also like to know it might work for self defense encase anything ever happened.

Honestly i haven't used either although I do like BM and really like the axis lock. You may have more luck with opinions in either the blade discussion forum or the reviews forum. I'm pretty new to this forum (traditionals) but seems like most here seem to stay with traditionals and not venture out into the land of one hand openers.
