Maybe this is one of those questions only Benchmade can answer but do you think the AFCK 806 will be brought back?

I had no idea it would be discontinued, at least in the standard version. It was just dumb luck I bought a couple before they were gone. It is one of those knives that I thought was a little odd looking in the photos but is alive in your hand. It's easy to use for regular cutting chores. You can easily choke up on it if you wish and it feels very secure should it have to be used for SD. That 4" blade is impressive.

I really love this knife. I hope Benchmade brings it back.

I've carried the Axis lock 806 for years and love the knife. The blade has almost completely lost the "black" coating, but that has never bothered me.

I feel naked if it's not with me.

When I heard that it was to be taken out of the line up I bought a spare just in case, so far it has never been used.

A GREAT knife the 806 is....................

It's a great knife for sure. One of the best knives I've ever owned in fact. I recently traded off my last one, and I wish I hadn't. Damn. I have no idea way they were discontinued. Someday, they might bring them back, but there's no telling. Seems like you can expect to pay $200 or more for one on ebay lately.

True, about the price........ But the original price was 175.00

I was always hoping for a mini-AFCK (814) in the Axis, but it never came to be.

I agree, one of my all time favorites! I also bought a few when I caught wind of it being discontinued. I have 2 brand new ones in the safe and 1 in the pocket. That should last me a while.
