I saw this model for the first time just two days ago and want to get one. they say that the one they had was a second model. how many models did benchmade make for afck? did they make one with ATS-34 with linerlock? I konw that the newest model have the axis lock,but I'm looking for the latest model with a linerlock. Whats the name of the latest model with the linerlock? does anyone konw? Please tell me.

I think the latest ones made with a liner lock are 154cm steel and have a oval hole. Pretty sure the originals were ats34.

As far as I know the latest with the linerlock were the 800 AFCK and 812 Mini-AFCK both with round hole and either 154CM or ATS34 - which are the same steel. I believe the later AFCKs like the 806 were Axis lock and oval hole.

they go like this;

*round hole /ATS34/liner lock - the original AFCK

*round hole 154CM/liner lock - they were the last ones before the ceased using the round hole

*oval hole /liner lock- the 804 IIRC

*oval hole/axis lock- the 806.

D2

There were some changes in steel.

A great knife, if you can find one. It still puzzles me that BM couldn't keep that series going.

I was fortunate to get a mini afck with hole and liner lock in M2 steel.I also have a user combo edge in ats34 steel.great knives

I have the AFCK mini with the ATS34 steel and liner lock. Great knife and still in demand. Just check ebay and see what they sell for. They go for more used than they originally sold for.

I am missing one of the little BaliSong emblems in the handle. BenchMade says since the knife is discontinued that they are no longer available. Anyone got any idea where to get on from.
