BM alteration/torsion bar

I was wondering if anyone knows whether not its possible to take the torsion bar from say a bm barrage and insert it in another model, like a rift, or is the axis lock modified, making switching parts from a nitrous assist to a regular model incompatible? If no one knows ill give it a shot, but if anyone's tried and succeeded (or failed) and anything you may have learned would be helpful.

I do not know 100 percent but I doubt that is possible.

The Barrage has a coil spring (axis assist). You can't transplant that to another model because it has (and needs) a "housing" on the scale + a milled out section in the blade where the spring fits. I don't have any knives with nitrous assist, but the torsion bar is a part of the scale (so you can't take it out) and you'd also need a matching blade where the torsion bar engages.

Do a google image search for "axis assist" and "nitrous assist" to find some pictures of what the mechanisms look like disassembled.
