BM Apparition: When?

I keep seeing the expected release date for the benchmade apparition move back. Does anybody know of a real date. Right now I see 1/25/05. I remember seeing 11/30/04.

I saw one this past weekend at the Mesquite, Texas gun show. Was not too impressed with it, as the handle seemed too large and the blade too narrow (no belly) to me. Just my own opinion tho.

Benchmade has a lot of models I like.

How about the skirmish? I really need to find a knife store around my college. Anybody know of one in the Davidson/Cornelius/Huntersville, NC area?

The App is totally out. Both my competitor and myself have moved some. Good knife, nice ergos. Just wish they had used real bone on the handle.

The first production run is finished AFAIK. I have yet to see more than one myself. Didn't care for it much either.

Speedfan, take a road trip and hit I-85 South and go to Spartanburg, maybe 70 miles from you? There is a knife shop there that has almost any knife you would want to handle. It's Odoms Hardware and Knives. It is on 176 off the Herron Circle on Business I-85. If thats a possibility give me a holler via email and I'll give you my phone number and I'll try to explain it a little better.

I've already handled a couple of Apparitions.

The Knife Shoppe in Ft. Mill, SC has two on display.

And Stacey's Knives in Rock Hill, SC also has at least one.

I have said more than once that I will never buy another liner-lock but this one might have me eating my words!

I don't know of any in North Mech, or even South Meck for that matter, but Stacy's Knives in Rock Hill SC is a very nice knife store. It is an easy and quick drive down I77. Here's their phone number: 803 328-8082
