Ok clear as a bell. We were tempted with a satin finish and now we are to get rub away happy BT2. Please vote, BM may look and learn something?:)

Stonewash would be nice. Not as reflective, hides scratches easily. Stonewash is my favorite finish on a using knife.

Satin of course is also nice.

I think I may just buy stock in scotchbrite though because we know Benchmade won't offer it in anything but BT2 :barf:

Cool, satin is making a good start!

I agree stonewash is very good for a user and lets face it a knife like this aught to be a user!

I voted for the shares in ScotchBrite...:p

Otherwise count me down for the SATIN!

That BC coating rocks  I'd love to see it on the 806! Though, a good satin finish or even stonewash would make me just as happy. But BT2? :barf:

Though, keep in mind that BT2 won't stop me from getting one when they finally are on the market. I like this knife too much!

I voted for satin, but anything that's not black is fine with me...
Still, like Dexter, I'll buy it in spite of BT-2.

Stonewash rocks! D-2 is "semi" stainless if the heat treatment is good. Maybe there's a chance??

I don't like coatings on my blades, so my vote is for satin. But is it feasible that BM eventually brings out different options of finish and blade steel, as they do with many of their other models?
